Greetings and Salutations IndyCar Families and Fans!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to  introduce myself and my son Gage here on IndyCar Mom!

I have been a lifelong fan of the IndyCar series, before and during the split, and now. My Mom was the driving force behind cultivating my love and admiration for the sport, as she has been a Mario Andretti fan since she was in 2nd grade. I hope that I am instilling the same love and respect for the sport in my son, Gage. He loves IndyCar, especially when we get to be at the track, and this year was the first time we shared the weeks leading up to Indianapolis 500, as he was my awesome partner in theIMS Social Media Garage. He couldn’t attend race day this year with me, but he will be there for 2014!

My passion and joy comes from seeing other children, and families enjoying IndyCar as much as we do, especially out at the tracks! We will be out at as many races as we can possibly attend next year, looking for families that will share their stories and experiences with us. In sharing these stories, new fans may be found, and that is the utmost goal for me: Getting NEW families interested in this incredible, fan and child friendly sport.

I’m so incredibly thrilled to be on board with Jill, Heather, Christy and Tanya! I think together we are going to take the concept of Families in IndyCar to an entirely new level of awesomeness! Stay tuned, and follow us for all the adventures and fun!
